Prenatal & Postpartum  Massage Therapy & Education

Prenatal massage therapy & perinatal care during the childbearing year helps relieve

tension, reduce stress and helps ready mom’s body for labor.

perinatal massage therapy can be effective at soothing and comforting the mom and child through the stages of childbirth.
postpartum massage can be especially beneficial in relieving pain for both mom and child during postpartum care.

Prenatal Massage & Education

Prenatal massage during the childbearing year helps relieves tension, reduces stress and helps ready mom’s body for labor. It is supportive of the physiological, structural, and emotional well being of both mother and fetus.

Massage during pregnancy provides much needed nurturing during this special time. Prenatal massage therapy, like all of my sessions, is offered in a quiet, comfortable room, and is performed while the mother-to-be is lying on her back and side, supported by pillows and bolsters.

Sessions include an eclectic blend of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, Connective Tissue, Neuromuscular Therapy, Trigger Point, Swedish, Maya Abdominal Therapy (adapted for pregnancy).

1, 1.5, and 2 hour sessions available.

Postpartum Massage & Education

Postpartum massage is especially beneficial in helping relieve tension from birth, reduce stress, increase a sense of security and well-being, and settle women into their new role as mother. Birthing calls upon all of a woman’s substantial resources.

Post-partum massage is a wonderful way to honor this transformational experience. This treatment is a nurturing, healing and nourishing retreat for mothers.

Sessions include an eclectic blend of most of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, Connective Tissue, Neuromuscular Therapy, Trigger Point, Swedish, Maya Abdominal Therapy (gently, with right timing), and Aromatherapy.

Post partum vaginal steams are also available to help heal tender tissues.

It makes a welcome gift for a woman who has recently given birth.

1, 1.5, and 2 hour sessions available.
